Dubbing artist-turned-actor Raveena Ravi will next be seen in Vishal's upcoming film, tentatively referred to as Vishal 31. The film went on floors last week after a formal launch ceremony.

A source close to the unit says, "Raveena will be playing a pivotal role in the film. Her last film's (Kavalthurai Ungal Nanban) cinematographer Vishnusri had recommended her to his mentor Balasubramaniem, who is in charge of the cinematography for the Vishal-starrer. She has already shot for two days before the film's shoot was put on hold because of the lockdown."

The source also confirms that Raveena has given a call sheet of 20 days for the film and that the makers are hoping to resume shoot after two weeks when the lockdown ends. 

Directed by Thu Pa Saravanan, the film stars Devi 2-fame Dimple Hayathi as the female lead.
