Dhanush-starrer Karnan will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video from May 14, the streaming giant announced today. Directed by Mari Selvaraj, the film was released theatrically on April 9 to critical acclaim and proved to be a box-office hit during its two-week run before theatres were shut down owing to the resurgence of COVID-19.

Speaking of the film's streaming premiere, filmmaker Mari Selvaraj said, "A strong storyline coupled with Dhanush's incredible acting prowess, I knew the film had the potential to be a hit with fans. Amazon Prime Video with its wider reach allows the audience to watch the film, any time, anywhere."

Bankrolled by V Creations, Karnan also features Lal, Rajisha Vijayan, Natty, and Yogi Babu in prominent roles.

Meanwhile, after the success of the film, Dhanush announced that he will be teaming up with Mari Selvaraj for yet another project.
