Director Bakkiyaraj Kannan has confirmed that the entire background score of his upcoming Karthi-starrer Sulthan has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The announcement has put an end to the confusion regarding the re-recording credits of the film, which has songs by Vivek-Mervin, while surprisingly, the trailer music was credited to Yuvan. 

Sharing a screen freeze from the film, which credits Yuvan Shankar Raja for the background score, Bakkiyaraj called the composer's music 'the crown of Sulthan'. 

Starring Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, Sulthan also has Nepolean, Lal, Yogi Babu and Ramachandra Raju playing important roles. The film is Tamil cinema's second-biggest post-COVID theatrical release.
