Vaisshnav Tej will be teaming up with Ketika Sharma for an untitled romantic entertainer. The film, which marks the directorial debut of Gireesaaya in Telugu, will be launched on April 2 in Hyderabad.

Gireesaaya is the director of Adithya Varma, the Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy.

BVSN Prasad, who recently made Solo Brathuke So Better with Sai Tej, is bankrolling the upcoming Vaisshnav Tej-starrer.

"The film is an urban love story and the pre-production work is in full swing. The idea is to go on floors in summer and the makers are finalising the shooting locations as well," says a source adding, "The movie presents Vaisshnav in a new avatar and his character is an anti-thesis to Aasi from his debut film, Uppena."

Meanwhile, Vaisshnav Tej is awaiting the release of his yet-to-be-titled rustic drama directed by Krish. He also has a film with Annapurna Studios in the pipeline. Directed by Prudhvi, an alumnus of Annapurna College of Film and Media, the film will go on floors in May.

Ketika, on the other hand, is making her Tollywood debut opposite Akash Puri in Romantic.
