Paresh Rawal tests positive for Covid-19

Actor Paresh Rawal has tested positive for Covid-19, two weeks after receiving his first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

In a tweet, Paresh asked everyone who came in contact with him to get tested. “Unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. All those that have come in contact with me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested,” he wrote.

Paresh had taken his first jab of the vaccine on March 9. He had tweeted, “V for vaccines. ! Thanks to All the Doctors and Nurses and the front line Health care workers and The Scientists. Thanks Narendra Modi.”

Paresh essays Farhan Akhtar’s boxing coach in the upcoming Toofan. He will also be seen in Priyadarshan’s Hungama 2.
