Hollywood star Keanu Reeves is all set to star in and produce a live-action film and anime series adaptation of Brzrkr.

The actor-filmmaker will first star in the action film adaptation of the comic books - which is his own studio's comic series - and later feature in an anime series that will follow the film's timeline, further expanding the Brzrkr universe.

Written by New York Times bestselling writer Matt Kindt, the comic series is illustrated by famed Marvel artist Ron Garney, with colors by Bill Crabtree, letters by Clem Robins, and character designs and covers by Rafael Grampá.

According to Variety, Reeves will also reprise his role in the series and voice his character of the protagonist 'B' in the anime series. 'B' is half-mortal and half-god who is cursed and compelled to violence at the sacrifice of his sanity, in this epic saga about the warrior's 80,000-year fight through the ages.
