AR Rahman congratulates Parthiban and Imman for winning National Award

Parthiban's Oththa Seruppu Size 7 won Special Jury Award and Best Sound Recording Award (Resul Pookutty), and D Imman won the Best Music Director Award for his songs in Ajith's Viswasam

Composer AR Rahman has congratulated actor-director Parthiban and music director D Imman for winning National Award. 

The 67th National Film Awards was announced yesterday and South Indian films dominated the winner's list. Parthiban's Oththa Seruppu Size 7 won Special Jury Award and Best Sound Recording Award (Resul Pookutty), and D Imman won the Best Music Director Award for his songs in Ajith's Viswasam.  

Congratulating Imman, Rahman wrote, "Well deserved!" 
 

Replying to Rahman's wishes Imman wrote, "It’s purely a blessing to receive this wish from you sir! You and Ilayaraaja sir had truly been a great inspiration in my life! Praise God!"

Parthiban has called Rahman's wishes his third National Award. 
 

Both Parthiban and Imman are being flooded with wishes from all over for the national recognition.
