67th National Film Awards: Parthiban's Oththa Seruppu wins two

R Parthiban's drama thriller, Oththa Seruppu Size 7, has bagged two awards at the 67th National Awards that were announced today for films released in 2019.

Resul Pookutty won the award for Best Audiography (re-recordist of the final mixed track), while the film's director and producer R Parthiban won the Special Jury Award. 

Oththa Seruppu Size 7, an experimental film featuring only Parthiban, had met with good reviews from critics for the innovation. The film had also entered the Asia Book of Records for having just one cast member.

Meanwhile, Asuran won the National Award for the Best Tamil Film and also bagged Dhanush his second National Award for Best Actor (Shared). Vijay Sethupathi bagged the Best Supporting Actor for Thiagarajan Kumararaja's Super Deluxe.
