Veteran comedian Senthil is playing the lead in Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu director Suresh Sangaiah's upcoming social satire film. The shooting for this project was completed yesterday at Tuticorin.

The untitled film, which went on floors last month, is said to be based on the life of a recently-released life-term convict who returns to his village after serving his term. It also stars Abhirami Venkatachalam in an important role.

Senthil, who had a prominent role in Suriya's Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, will next be seen in the long-delayed Sinish-starrer Pistha. Suresh Sangaiah, on the other, is awaiting the release of his second film, Sathiya Sodhanai, starring Premgi Amaren.
