Universal Pictures has announced the release dates of DreamWorks Animation's The Bad Guys and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

The Bad Guys, an adaptation of Aaron Blabey's best-selling graphic novel series, will be released on April 15, 2022. 

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, the sequel to the 2011-film Puss in Boots, is scheduled for release on September 23, 2022, which was earlier reserved for an untitled animated film.

Joel Crawford, who helmed DreamWorks Animantions' The Croods: A New Age, will be directing Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, replacing Chris Miller, who directed the original. 

The voice cast of The Bad Guys is yet to be announced while Antonio Banderas is set to reprise his titular role in the Puss in Boots sequel.
