Sun Pictures seems to be on a signing spree. The production house, which is currently bankrolling Rajinikanth-Siva's Annaatthe, Vijay-Nelson's Thalapathy 65, and Surya-Pandiraj's Suriya 40, will also be producing Vijay Sethupathi's next. The film, tentatively referred to as VJS 46, will be directed by Ponram.

The production house shared the news on Twitter earlier today with a promo that confirms that the film is set in Trichy and that Vijay Sethupathi will be playing a cop. The actor has earlier donned the khaki for Sethupathi and Chekka Chivantha Vaanam.

VJS 46 will have music by Imman, while Dinesh Krishnan and Vivek Harshan are handling cinematography and editing, respectively.

Ponram is currently awaiting the release of MGR Magan, starring Sasikumar. Vijay Sethupathi, on the other hand, has a slew of films like Tughlaq Durbar, Kadaisi Vivasayi, Laabam, and Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal in different stages of production.
