Earlier, other celebrities like Dulquer Salmaan, Siddharth, Prasanna, Kalaipuli S Thanu, and Sai Pallavi had also expressed their admiration for the song. The video for the song, which was released on March 7 on YouTube, has garnered over 27 million views.

Enjoy Enjaami is an ode to the ancestors who strived to propagate life. It's also the story of Valliyamma, Arivu's grandmother, who is one of the descendants of the laboureres who were taken to Sri Lanka from Tamil Nadu to work on the tea plantations there. With this as the central theme, Arivu's lyrics explore the relationship between man and nature.

The song is the first independent track from AR Rahman's Maajja initiative, which aims to amplify the voices of South Asian indie musicians.
