Vanitha Vijayakumar roped in for Prashanth's Andhaghan

Actor Vanitha Vijayakumar, who shot to fame after participating in Bigg Boss Tamil, is now part of Andhaghan, the Tamil remake of the Hindi National Award-winning film Andhadhun. The upcoming film is directed and produced by Thiyagarajan and has his son Prashanth reprising the role played by Ayushmann Khurrana.

When asked about her part in Andhaghan, Vanitha told Cinema Express, "I play a key role in the film and have a very exciting scene which the audiences will enjoy. I can't divulge any more information about my role."

Vanitha, who made her debut with the 1995 Vijay-starrer Chandrelekha, was last seen in MGR Sivaji Rajini Kamal (2015).

Other than Prashanth, Andhaghan also stars Simran, who will be reprising Tabu's role from the original. The film also features Karthik, Yogi Babu, Urvashi, KS Ravikumar, Manobala, Leena Samson, Semmalar, and Poovaiyaar.

Santhosh Narayanan is on board as the composer and Ravi Yadhav will be in charge of the cinematography.
