The first look of Aalambana has been launched and it features Vaibhav sporting Aladdin's look and Munishkanth as his genie. The fantasy film directed by Pari K Vijay, which went on floors towards the end of 2019, has Parvati Nair playing the female lead. 

Aalambana, which was shot in locations like Mysore Palace, Chennai, and Pondicherry, also stars Dindugal I Leoni, Kaali Venkat, Murali Sharma, and Anandraj, with Vedalam-fame Kabir Duhan Singh playing the villain.

The film has music by Hip Hop Tamizha, cinematography by Nedunalvaadai-fame Vinoth Ramaswamy, and editing by San Lokesh. It is jointly bankrolled by KJR Studios and Oustubh Entertainments.
