We had previously reported that Sharwanand is teaming up with director Ajay Bhupathi of RX 100 fame for a film, titled Maha Samudram. On the occasion of Sharwanand's birthday, his look from the film has now been released. It features the actor, clad in blood-soaked attire, holding a bloodied boat propellor.

Also starring Siddharth, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Anu Emmanuel, the film is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. Set in Visakhapatnam, the film went on floors in December last year. Produced by AK Entertainments, the film will feature music by Chaitan Bharadwaj.

While the film marks Sharwanand's return to Tamil cinema after 2015's JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai, it will also be Siddharth's Telugu comeback after Gruham (2017). Maha Samudram is scheduled to hit the screens on August 19th.
