Ashok Selvan's next starts filming

The film will be directed by R Karthik in his directorial debut

The filming of Ashok Selvan's next, directed by debutant filmmaker R Karthik has begun today. The yet-to-be-titled film will star Ritu Varma, Aparna Balamurali, and Shivathmika in prominent roles. Interestingly, the film marks the second collaboration between Ashok and Ritu, after the Tamil-Telugu bilingual Theeni, which released this February.

The new film will have cinematography by George C Williams, music by Gopi Sundar, and editing by Antony. Produced by Viacom18 Studios in association with Rise East Entertainment, the film has the tagline, 'where you think it ends, it begins'. 

Meanwhile, Ashok Selvan's next Tamil film is Hostel, co-starring Priya Bhavani Shankar, Satish, and Nasser. He will also be appearing in the Mohanlal-led Malayalam period drama, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham.
