Shivarajkumar is gearing up to get back onto the shoot of Vijay Milton’s upcoming film, which has been tentatively titled Shivappa, from June 28. With the talkie portions completed the film is left with the shoot of  20-minute-long portions, comprising two major action sequences and a couple of songs.

“Currently the government has permitted us to shoot outdoors. We are following the same, as we wait for restrictions to be eased,” says producer Krishna Sarthak, adding, “We are simultaneously preparing to erect sets required for fight sequences.”

The production house, along with the director, is planning to officially reveal the title on Shivanna’s birthday on July 12. The first look will also be out on the same date.

Krishna, meanwhile, has been working on getting the crew vaccinated. “We are also making sure that everyone on the set has gotten the first dose of vaccine,” he says.

Cinematographer-turned-director Vijay Milton, who is known for his Tamil films like Goli Soda franchise and Pathu Endrathukulla, is helming his first Kannada film.  The film marks Shivarajkumar’s 123rd project and it has music by Anoop Seelin.

The film brings back the hit combo of Shivanna and Dhananjay for the second time after Tagaru.  Anjali plays the female lead in the film which has Yasho Shivakumar, Shashikumar and Umashree playing important roles.
