Amazon Prime Video's popular sports-drama series Inside Edge is back for a third season.

The first season of the series premiered way back in 2017. Headlined by Vivek Oberoi and Richa Chaddha, Inside Edge follows cricket team Mumbai Mavericks and its owner Zarina Malik, and takes a deep dive into the dark side of the cricketing world, which is riddled by match-fixing, politics, doping, and more.

With the finale of season two ending on a cliffhanger, fans have been waiting for season three, and it seems like their wait is soon to end. However, recent reports speculated the streamer was planning to reshoot the third season. Now, as per official communication, the new season will be premiering soon.

Vivek and Richa shared the news on Instagram and wrote, "More cricket, more drama and more entertainment. Season 3, coming soon. #InsideEdge."

Inside Edge season 3 is directed by Kanishk Varma, created by Karan Anshuman and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. The series also stars Sayani Gupta, Aamir Bashir, Tanuj Virwani, Sapna Pabbi, Amit Sial, and Sidhant Gupta in key roles. Actor Akshay Oberoi will be a new entrant in the cast.

The streamer is yet to announce a release date.
