Actor Vishal has filed a police complaint against producer RB Choudhary for allegedly failing to acknowledge his repayment of the debt he had got for the 2018 film Irumbhu Thirai. 

The actor took to Twitter to make this announcement. Calling RB Choudhary's behaviour unacceptable, he mentioned that the producer has failed to return him the cheque leaves, bonds and promissory notes, despite him repaying the loan months ago.

We have lodged a complaint with Police

Irumbhu Thirai, directed by PS Mithran and co-starring Arjun and Samantha, was a blockbuster and had one of the biggest openings in the career of Vishal. Apart from playing the lead, Vishal produced the film under his Vishal Film Factory. 

It may be noted, that RB Choudhary's son Jiiva is known for the comradery he shares with Vishal. Both the heroes have made special appearances in each other's films out of friendship. 

Producer RB Choudhary is yet to respond to the allegation of Vishal.
