Dhanush to join team Jagame Thandhiram on Twitter Spaces

CE Features

Tamil cinema is welcoming Twitter Spaces like no other film industry. A day after the newly-introduced feature served as a conduit for filmmaker Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi to officially announce her next film, the team of the upcoming Jagame Thandhiram has announced that they will be attending a Spaces session to mark the release of the film's music.

Much to the delight of the fans, it has also been announced that the film's lead actor, Dhanush—who has remained distant from the film's promotions until the trailer launch a few days ago—will be joining the discussion. The film's director and music composer, Karthik Subbaraj and Santhosh Narayanan, respectively, will be a part of the conversation along with the film's technicians, writers, and music team.

Santhosh Narayanan took to Twitter to announce the virtual event. "Our team of musicians, writers and technicians will come together to talk about everything and to keep you happy for however long it takes. And yes, our dearest Dhanush sir will be with us!" wrote Santhosh.

Jagame Thanthiram, which also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, James Cosmo, Joju George, and Kalaiyarasan, is set to premiere on Netflix on June 18.

Dhanush, who was recently seen in Karnan, is currently is shooting for the Netlflix actioner, The Gray Man, co-starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and Ana de Armas, directed by The Russo Brothers. The Asuran-actor's upcoming slate of films includes the Aanand L Rai-directorial Atrangi Re, a yet-to-be-tiled film with Karthik Naren, and Selvaraghavan's Naane Varuven.
