Arun Vijay-Hari film resumes shooting

CE Features

We had previously reported that Arun Vijay will be teaming up with director Hari for his upcoming film, tentatively called AV 33. The shooting of the film, which was launched in March this year, resumed today.

Arun Vijay took to Twitter where he shared emoticons to denote that the shooting is underway for his 33rd film and tagged the cast and crew of the film. A source close to the unit says, "They shot for ten days when they launched the film in March but because of Covid-19 and the lockdown, the makers decided to resume shoot when things started returning to normalcy. Now that the circumstances are more favourable than what it was a few months ago, the team has resumed production with all the necessary precautions in place."

Last seen in Mafia, Arun Vijay's female lead from that film, Priya Bhavani Shankar, is also playing the heroine in AV 33. The untitled film also stars Prakash Raj, Radhika, Yogi Babu and Ammu Abirami. With GV Prakash handling the music, AV 33 will have cinematography by KA Sakthivel. Antony has been roped in as the editor, marking his first collaboration with Hari.
