Jordan Peele's upcoming thriller feature titled Nope

Jordan Peele's next film, touted as a mind-bending thriller, is titled Nope.

Peele, who is writing and directing the film, revealed the news on Twitter by posting the poster of the film that features an ominous blue cloud above the title.

The director is once again collaborating with his Get Out-star Daniel Kaluuya in the film, who will star alongside Keke Palmer, and Steven Yeun in the lead. Other cast members include Barbie Ferriera (Euphoria), Brandon Perea (The OA), and Michael Wincott (The Crow).

Peele rose to fame following two successive hits in the form of Get Out and Us. The former was critically acclaimed and garnered two Academy Award nominations for Best Picture and Best Director, and an Academy Award for the Best Original Screenplay. 

Meanwhile, the director is also gearing up for the release of Candyman, a film he produced and co-wrote, and is directed by filmmaker Nia DaCosta.

Nope is scheduled to debut in theaters on July 22, 2022.
