The first look of Suriya's next with director Pandiraj will be revealed on July 22, on the eve of the actor's birthday. Currently referred to as Suriya 40, the film bankrolled by Sun Pictures went on floors in March this year. 

The announcement was made by the production house along with a pre-look teaser featuring a silhouette shot of Suriya. 

Photos of the actor from the sets toting a gun, which were released a few months ago, teased that the film might be on the lines of Pandiraj's suspense thriller Kathakali. 

The film stars Priyanka Arul Mohan, Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash and Ilavarasu. 

While Rathnavelu has been roped in as the cinematographer, this project marks composer Imman's first collaboration with Suriya. 

Meanwhile, Suriya also has Vaadivaasal with Vetri Maaran. This project is expected to go on floors once Suriya 40 is wrapped up.
