Actor Nakkhul will collaborate with director RG Krishnan for a comedy film titled Vasco da Gama.

Director Krishnan revealed that the team is currently finalising the rest of the cast and crew for the project. Plot details are currently unavailable, and the makers will reveal the same in the upcoming weeks.

Earlier this morning, Nakkhul took to Instagram to share pictures with the director and the crew. He captioned it, "Today has been one of the most overwhelming, blessed and eventful day ! Morning I had the puja of a new movie and now in the evening I just signed another untitled film. All this would have not been possible without all your blessing, love and constant support fam ! I love you guys 3000"

Vasco da Gama is scheduled to go into production next month.

The film marks Krishnan's second direction project. He had previously helmed an OTT film called Devadas Parvathi, which was popular for its tracks sung by the late SP Balasubrahmanyam.

Vasco da Gama is bankrolled by Dato Subhaskharan under his 5656 Productions.
