Priya Anand to play the female lead in Kasethan Kadavulada, film goes on floors

The film also stars Shivangi Krishna Kumar in an important role

Priya Anand has been roped in to play the female lead in Kasethan Kadavulada remake, which is helmed by R Kannan. The film starring Shiva in the lead was launched today. 

Priya has previously worked with Shiva in Vanakkam Chennai and to-be-released Sumo. She also has played the lead in Kannan's 2014 film Oru Oorla Rendu Raja

Shiva will be stepping into the shoes of the protagonist played by the late Muthuraman, while Yogi Babu and Urvashi will be playing the characters essayed by Thenga Srinivasan and Aachi Manorama, respectively. Apart from them, the film stars Shivangi Krishna Kumar in an important role.

Kasethan Kasavulada is produced by Kannan through his production house, Masala Pix, in association with MKRP Productions. Meanwhile, the filmmaker has Thalli Pogathey, starring Atharvaa, and the remake of The Great Indian Kitchen led by Aishwarya Rajesh in his pipeline.
