Director Sohan Lal's Appuvinte Sathyanveshanam will stream on multiple OTT platforms from July 10.

A joint production of AVA Productions and E4 Entertainment, the film has Master Mithun playing the titular character while producer AV Anoop plays the other lead character, Appu's grandfather.

The film, which also stars Meera Vasudevan and Maniyanpilla Raju, is touted as the story of choices and one boy's struggle to pick between right and wrong. The makers have said the film's target audience is parents, teachers, and children.

Mithun had won the best child actor trophy at 2019's Kerala State Film Awards. In addition, the film won the Kerala Film Critics award for best costume design.

Scripted by Raju Ranganath, the film was shot by late cinematographer MJ Radhakrishnan. Srivatsan J Menon composed the background score, and Indrans Jayan designed the costumes.

The film will be available for streaming on July 10 on Neestream, iTunes and Apple TV in India and Amazon Prime outside India.
