We had earlier reported that Suriya will be collaborating with director Pandiraj for an upcoming film. It has now been announced that composer D Imman has been roped in for the project. Sun Pictures, which is bankrolling the film, made the announcement today on the occasion of Imman’s birthday.

Tentatively referred to as Suriya 40, this project will mark Imman’s first collaboration with Suriya. However, this is Imman’s third film with Pandiraj after Kadaikutty Singam and Namma Veettu Pillai

“Immense joy to join hands with Kalanithi Maran sir and director Pandiraj sir once again! Excited to score music for our dear Suriya sir! Thanks for all your unconditional love and support! Joyful birthday gift! Praise God,” tweeted Imman.

Incidentally, Imman is also in charge of the music for Rajinikanth’s Annaththe, which is being helmed by director Siva. That project is also being bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
