Release date of Godzilla vs Kong moved earlier

CE Features

The fourth instalment of Legendary's MonsterVerse, Godzilla Vs Kong will be hitting the screens sooner than anticipated. The film, which was supposed to be out in theatres on May 21, has been moved to an earlier release date. Godzilla Vs Kong will now be released on March 26.

Interestingly, before the pandemic, the film was scheduled to hit the screens in May 2020, but was later pushed to May this year. This is also the first time post the pandemic that a film's release has been moved up.

Directed by Adam Wingard and starring Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, and Rebecca Hall, the film will be the second time the titular characters go against each other after the 1962 Japanese film, King Kong vs. Godzilla.
