Zombie Reddy, which is being promoted as Telugu cinema's first Zombie film, will hit the screens on February 5, announced its director Prasanth Varma today. The film has Teja Sajja and Anandhi in the lead roles.

"We had initially planned Zombie Reddy for Sankranthi. However, to avoid clash with other releases and also taking into account the suggestions of the industry bigwigs, we have postponed the release. The film will now be released on February 5 and I request people to watch our movie in theatres, observing Covid-19 norms," says Prasanth Varma.

Set in Kurnool, the thriller revolves around a hypothetical setting based on the novel coronavirus pandemic. "Zombie Reddy is a high-concept film. How the people of Kurnool save the world from the pandemic is what the film is all about. It shows Kurnool and its people in a positive light," adds the Kalki director.
