Actor Linga, of Sethupathi and Sindhubaadh fame, and Karthiik RS, who starred as the lead in Peechankai, are teaming up for a film. It will be directed by Dwarakh Raja, who previously made the 2017 film, Kadhal Kasakuthaiya.

Titled Parole, the film is said to be a crime-thriller and courtroom drama involving two brothers — Karikalan and Kovalan — and the conflict between them. Written as a story that happens over a span of 48 hours, the film is shot in Chennai, Trichy, and Madurai. 

Kalpika and Monisha play the female leads in this film that also stars Vinodhini and Janaki Suresh. Produced by Madhusudhanan of Tripr Entertainment, Parole will have music and cinematography by Rajkumar Amal and Magesh Thirunavukarasu, respectively.
