We had earlier reported that Arun Vijay will be collaborating with director Arivazhagan for an upcoming project, tentatively referred to as AV 31. The latest is that the shooting for the film has been wrapped up.

Billed to be an action thriller, AV 31 features Regina Cassandra and Bhagavathy Perumal in key roles. Important parts of the film, including the climax fight, have been shot in Delhi with both Arun Vijay and Regina being part of the action.

“I am extremely happy with the way the film has come out. It is a team effort to finish a project of this magnitude in these difficult times. I thank my director, Regina, and other co-actors who stood by the movie," said Arun Vijay in a statement.

AV 31 is Arun Vijay’s second film with director Arivazhagan after the 2017 hit film, Kuttram 23.
