Owing to date issues, actor Priyanshu Painyuli will not be a part of the Nushrat Bharucha-starrer Chhori.

Priyanshu is currently shooting for Rashmi Rocket, a sports drama starring Taapsee Pannu and directed by Akarsh Khurana. He will soon start preparing for his next, Pippa with Ishaan Khattar and Mrunal Thakur. Between these projects and their respective prep, the actor could not allot dates for Chhori.

A source informs, “Priyanshu was excited about trying a new genre. However, the dates of Rashmi Rocket and his wedding were clashing. Hence, he had to let go of the project.”

Chhori is the remake of the hit Marathi horror film, Lapachhapi. The film is being written by Vishal Kapoor and directed by Vishal Furia, the original creators of Lapachhapi (2016). It is co-produced by Abundantia Entertainment and Crypt TV.
