Teejay Arunasalam, who made his Tamil debut with Asuran, will play the hero in an upcoming film directed by Sarjun. The announcement was made recently to celebrate Teejay’s birthday.

The film is being produced by Big Print Pictures, which is also bankrolling Aadhi’s Clap.

In a tweet, Teejay mentioned that the untitled film will be based on a novel by Jayamohan. “Extremely excited to play lead in (Airaa fame) director Sarjun KM’s film, based on writer Jeyamohan's novel. DOP Sathyan Sooryan, the man behind Master, Kaithi, and Vikram will be taking care of the visuals.,” he tweeted. 

Other cast and crew details are yet to be revealed.

Teejay was also recently roped in to play an important role in Simbu and Gautham Karthik’s Pathu Thala.
