Rana Daggubati's Aranya new release date out

Actor Rana Daggubati announced the release date of his upcoming multilingual, Aranya, today. The action-adventure, which had deferred its release several times due to the Covid-19 pandemic, is now poised for a theatrical release on March 26 in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

"Welcoming the new year and the new normal, we are excited to bring Haathi Mere Saathi, Aranya, and Kaadan on 26th March in a theatre near you," tweeted Rana.

Directed by Prabhu Solomon, the film has Shreya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain as the female leads in all three versions. The Tamil and Hindi versions are titled Kaadan and Haathi Mere Saathi, with Vishnu Vishal playing the mahout in the former and Pulkit Samrat essaying the same role in the latter.

Aranya will see Rana as Bandev, a 50-year-old guardian of a forest and the story revolves around the issue of human encroachment on Kaziranga's elephant reserve. The film's music is by Shantanu Moitra.
