The shooting for Sibi Sathyaraj's Ranger was completed on Sunday. The team took to social media to announce the same, with pictures from the final day on sets. 

Directed by Dharanidharan, Ranger has Ramya Nambeesam, Madhushalini, and Kaali Venkat playing key roles. The film will have music by Arrol Correlli.

The film is reportedly said to be based on the story of the tiger Avni. The female tiger was shot dead after it killed 13 people in over two years. Sibi Sathyaraj will be playing the role of a forest officer. 

Sibi was last seen in Walter, which was one of the last films to hit the theatres before the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. Apart from Ranger, the actor also has Kabadadaari, Ranga, and Maayon in the pipeline.
