We had previously reported that director Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara's production house, Rowdy Pictures, will be soon bankrolling a film titled Walking/Talking Strawberry Icecream. It's now known that singer Jonita Gandhi and actor Krishnakumar of Soorarai Pottru fame have been signed to play the leads in this project.

Directed by a newcomer Vinayak, a former associate of Vignesh Shivan, the film is said to be a romantic drama. It is currently being shot in and around Chennai. Cinematography is by Ch Sai, who had earlier assisted Rathnavelu. The film's music director will be announced soon.

Vignesh Shivan's upcoming productions include Vasanth Ravi-Bharathirajaa's Rocky and Koozhangal. He is also busy with his directorial venture, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal, which has Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha Akkineni in the lead.
