Srinivas Avasarala's next film, Nootokka Jillala Andagaadu, which marks the debut of Sagar Rachakonda as the director, will be released in theatres on May 7. The comic caper is adapted from late Nutan Prasad's catchphrase from Chali Cheemalu (1978).

Bankrolled by Rajeev Reddy and Shirish, the film has Ruhani Sharma as the leading lady.

"The shooting of the film was wrapped up before the lockdown, but the team has been waiting in the wings to find a suitable window for its release. Now that the occupancy in theatres has been restored to its full capacity, they have decided to bring their film to cinemas on May 7," says a source.

Music of the film is by Shaktikanth Karthik, who rose to fame with Sekhar Kammula's Fidaa.
