International bodybuilder Ravi, popularly known as Gym Ravi in the Kannada film industry, will be making his debut as a lead with Purushottama. Having played supporting characters in over 130 films, Ravi will be playing a full-fledged hero in this film, which is also produced by him under the banner Gym Productions. 

Purushottama will be directed by Amarnath SV, who has also written the film’s story, screenplay and dialogues.

The team plans to hold an official launch on February 14, after which they will start the shooting in various parts of Mysuru.

The film has music by Sridhar V Sambhram and cinematography by Kumar M.
