The release date of Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor has been announced. The Nelson Dilipkumar directorial is all set to hit the theatres on March 26. 

Sivakarthikeyan, who recently finished dubbing for the film, took to Twitter to announce the release date. 

Doctor has Gang Leader-fame Priyanka Arul Mohan playing the female lead. The film marks Priyanka's Tamil debut. Doctor also stars VJ Archana (known for her recent stint on Bigg Boss Tamil), Vinay, Yogi Babu, and Ilavarasu.

The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Vijay Karthik Kannan (Aadai). 

This is Nelson Dilipkumar’s second Tamil film after the Nayanthara-starrer Kolamaavu Kokila. Nelson will next helm Vijay's Thalapathy 65, which is to be produced by Sun Pictures.

Sivakarthikeyan, on the other hand, has the sci-fi film Ayalan, directed by R Ravikumar (of Indru Netru Naalai fame), in the pipeline. He has also signed a new film with debutant filmmaker Cibi Chakaravarthi, titled Don.
