Karthi's Sulthan to hit screens on April 2

Karthi's much-anticipated project, Sulthan, will hit the screens on April 2. The teaser of the film dropped today and it hints at an action entertainer that deals with a social issue.

The actor took to Twitter to share the teaser, and wrote, "Sulthan, an honest effort to bring a complete family entertainer with humor, romance, action and strong man-to-man relationship. Hope you all like it."

Helmed by Remo-director Bakkiyaraj Kannan, Sulthan marks the Tamil debut of Rashmika Mandanna.

Sulthan has music by Vivek-Mervin (Sanga Thamizhan, Dharala Prabhu)  and cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan (Kaithi, Master). Apart from Karthi and Rashmika, the film also stars Yogi Babu, Napolean, Lal, and others.

Karthi, who was last seen in Jeethu Joseph’s Thambi, also has Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan, and a film each with PS Mithran and Muthiah in the pipeline.
