Varun Dhawan will resume shooting for Jug Jugg Jeeyo soon. The actor, along with director Raj Mehta and co-star Maniesh Paul, has started prepping for the film. 

Produced by Dharma Productions, Jug Jugg Jeeyo had gone on floors in Chandigarh last year. Besides Varun and Maniesh, the film also features Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Prajakta Koli in the cast. The film's production was briefly halted in December last year after Varun, Raj and Neetu Kapoor had tested positive for Covid-19. They had soon recovered. 

Varun has wrapped up Bhediya, a horror-comedy directed by Amar Kaushik. The film is expected to release in theatres on April 14, 2022.
