Colin and Casey Jost to pen new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie for Paramount Pictures

Emmy-nominated Saturday Night Live writer Colin Jost, and his brother Casey Jost, have been tapped by Paramount Pictures to co-write an untitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film.

The plot details of the film are currently kept under wraps. Paramount relaunched the popular 90s film franchise in 2014, along with Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes. The 2014 film grossed $485 million global, leading to the release of its 2016 sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

The new film will be produced by Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, Scott Mednick and Galen Walker.

Meanwhile, an animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot series from Nickelodeon and Seth Rogen is set for release in 2023.

Apart from being a key writer in Saturday Night Live, Colin is also co-writing Worst Man. He will also star in the film along with his SNL co-star Pete Davidson. Colin recently starred in Tom and Jerry movie.
