Kavin and Reba Monica John will be teaming up for a web series titled Akash Vaani. The shooting of the series has begun on Monday with a formal pooja ceremony with all safety protocols in place. Billed as a romantic drama, the series will be directed by Enoc Able. The series will also feature Abitha Venkat, Sharath Ravi, and Deepak Paramesh in supporting roles.
Presented by Kaustubha Mediaworks, Akash Vaani will have music by Guna Balasubramanian and cinematography by Santhakumar Chakravarthy, while Kalaivanan R will be handling the editing. Further details related to the series, including the streaming platform it will premiere on, are yet to be announced.
Reba's acting credits include in Tamil include Jarugandi, Bigil, and Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale. She will also be seen in FIR, co-starring Vishnu Vishal, and filmmaker Vijay's Tamil-Telugu bilingual October 31st Ladies Night. On the other hand, Kavin, best-known for his Bigg Boss Tamil stint, will be next seen in Lift, a thriller co-starring Amritha Aiyer.
