Akshay Kumar-starrer Bell Bottom is headed for a theatrical release on August 19. The film, a spy thriller set in the 1980s, will also release in 3D.

The makers made the announcement with a new video. It features Akshay toying with a pair of 3D glasses.

Bell Bottom also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi. The film is directed by Ranjit M Tiwari and written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh. It was one of the first Bollywood films to be shot internationally during the pandemic. With cinemas reopened, it's the first major Hindi theatrical release of the month.
