Anasuya Bharadwaj-starrer Thank You Brother is headed for a direct-to-digital release. The film, which was supposed to be released in theatres on April 30, will instead premiere on May 7 on Aha.

The decision comes after theatres across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh were shut down voluntarily to contain the second wave of Covid-19.

Directed by Ramesh Raparthi, Thank You Brother is set in the backdrop of the lockdown. The thriller revolves around a fiery youngster and a pregnant woman, who are stuck in an elevator.

Anasuya Bharadwaj will be seen playing the role of the pregnant woman in the film that has music by Guna Balasubramanian. The film also has Ashwin J Viraj, Monica Reddy, Harsha Chemudu and Aadarsh Balakrishna in supporting roles.

Besides Thank You Brother, Anasuya will also be seen in a pivotal role in Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa, Ravi Teja's Khiladi, and Ranga Marthanda.
