CE Features

We had earlier reported that Karthi and director PS Mithran are coming together for a film. The film was launched last year, and now, the makers are out with the first look and title of the project. Titled Sardar, the film features Karthi in a new makeover.

Sharing the first look on Twitter, Karthi wrote, "Excited to be joining hands with PS Mithran on this biggie. Revealing the first look for you all. Lots of love!"

The film will star Raashii Khanna and Karnan-fame Rajisha Vijayan as the female lead. Sardar also has Simran in a pivotal role and will mark the Tamil debut of Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey. Produced by Prince Pictures, the film has music by GV Prakash, marking his first collaboration with Mithran, who had previously worked with Yuvan Shankar Raja for his first two films. While George C Williams is handling the camera, Ruben will be taking care of the editing of Sardar. The film will go on floors from tomorrow.

Though other details of the film are still under wraps, it is rumoured that Karthi is playing a dual role in Sardar.
