Actor Nazriya Nazim has joined the sets of her first Telugu film, Ante Sundaraniki, today. She took to Instagram to share the news and wrote, "Andariki Namaskaram! Today, I start shooting for my first Telugu film. First is always special. Ante Sundaraniki will be special."

Actors Parvathy Thiruvothu, Anupama Parameswaran, Samvritha Akhil, and Vijay Yesudas wished her good luck for her maiden endeavour.

Starring Nani in the titular role, the film was announced last November along with a curtain raiser video that shows the Tuck Jagadish actor sporting a traditional avatar. Directed by Vivek Athreya, Ante Sundaraniki is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.

According to a source, the makers are filming scenes featuring Nazriya in this schedule. Nani, who is currently shooting for the final schedule of Shyam Singha Roy in a vintage Kolkata set, is expected to join the team soon.

Interestingly, Nazriya's husband and actor Fahadh Faasil is also making his Telugu debut with Allu Arjun's pan-Indian film Pushpa. He will be seen as the antagonist of the film set in the backdrop of red sanders smuggling in Seshachalam forests.
