Actor Venkatesh has completed shooting for director Jeethu Joseph's Telugu directorial debut, Drushyam 2. Jeethu took to social media to share the news and also posted photographs from the sets of the film. Drushyam 2 also features Meena Sagar, Kruthika, Nadhiya, Naresh Vijaya Krishna and Esther Anil in pivotal roles.

Produced by Suresh Babu Daggubati, Antony Perumbavoor, Sri Priya and Rajkumar Sethupathi, the film went on floors on March 5 in Hyderabad. It is in the last leg of production in Kerala and Venkatesh has wrapped up his portions in 50 days.

A remake of the Malayalam thriller Drishyam 2, the film showcases how Ram Babu, a cable television operator-turned-theatre owner, outwits the police investigating the murder of Varun, his older daughter's classmate and son of a former top cop. 

Drushyam 2 is poised for a theatrical release in the second half of 2021.
