CS Amudhan, who is known for his spoof film Thamizh Padam, is next teaming up with Vijay Antony for a thriller. In a tweet, the director wrote, "So my next film is with my college-buddy Vijay Antony and will be produced by Infiniti Film Ventures. Pre-production is underway and the rest of a huge cast is being finalised. The film is a crime/action-thriller. And a title will soon be announced."

The yet-untitled film is set in Chennai and it revolves around a murder. However, CS Amudhan has said that Vijay Antony is not playing a cop. The cast and other details of the film are still under wraps.

Years ago, CS Amudhan and Vijay Antony, who have known each other since their Loyola College days, were supposed to collaborate on a film titled Nakka Mooka, but the film did not materialise.

The upcoming project is in the pre-production phase and is set to hit the floors in mid-September.
