Director Vikram Sugurmaran, who made Madha Yaanai Kootam in 2013, is back to helm another film with his debut feature's hero Kathir. The film will be bankrolled by Libra Productions Ravinder Chandrasekhar and First Man Films.

Kathir, whose romcom Sarbath directly premiered on Colors Tamil channel last Sunday, has one more film in the pipeline with Anandi and Naren. He is also speculated to play the male lead in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam hit film Ishq.

Vikram Sugumaram, on the other hand, has Ravana Kottam, starring Shanthnu Bakkiyaraj, waiting for release. The film has Anandhi playing the female lead and Prabhu essaying an important character.
